One of the most famous carriers ever to serve the US Naval Fleet, she participated in multiple conflicts, the most noted the Libyan crisis in the 1980s. The USS Coral Sea was retired in 1989.

The USS Forrestal was the first of the supercarriers, larger than wartime vessels and her design has been the basis for all subsequent carriers (with the angled deck). She entered service in the Fleet in 1956, participating in Mediterranean conflicts on her maiden cruise in 1958. I have no idea what this patch is supposed to be. I think it is the last flight of a TOMCAT squadron, but I'm not sure which. If anyone has any information please let me know. This patch does not come with velcro attached.
