They transitioned from the Phantom to the Tomcat in December 1975, and made several West coast cruises paired with VF-213 before being decommissioned. This is their "Decommission" patch they created to commemorate their years in Naval Aviation, ending their flying with the F-14A Tomcat (1942 - 1993). This patch has a lot of skulls burning in Hell, their different aircraft on the left, and "ZOTT" being called home to Heaven by the "All-Seeing Eye". Neat patch......must have had a Freemason help design this patch!
