Established as VBF-3 in 1945, the squadron was redesignated VF-4A in 1946, then VF-32 in August 1948. This is (reproduction of) the initial squadron patch for them It says "White Lightning" across the top and "Fightin' Thirty-Two" along the bottom. Quite a unique patch, and I'm sure the history is probably as exciting as what was in the moonshine jug!!

This is the VFA-32 OIF 2008 Cruise Patch. It is in the shape of the country of Iraq. I'm not sure what the purpose of the VFA-32 lion is, but it says "GPS" on the sword. Also, it says "Gypsy Cruise 2007-2008". Finally, at the bottom of the patch it says, "From the sandbox to the kill box". This patch does not have velcro attached.
