This is the "reproduction" patch for the reunion for the 12th TAC 'Black Birds'. It's says "ALONE! UNARMED! UNAFRAID?". Only was able to get a few of these, so grab them while you can.

This is the color version of the old wing crest for the 81st Tactical Fighter Wing. They were an F-4C unit at one time ('65-'79), but are now known more so as being the largest A-10 unit (6 squadrons) from '79-'93 and the largest tactical fighter wing in the world at one time.

This is the "commemmoration" patch created for the 355th Tactical Fighter Squadron's 'Night Hogs'.

This is the color version of the squadron patch for the 412th Flight Test Operations Squadron out of Edwards AFB, CA.

This is the 'Team Shadow' patch created for the 412th AMXS. The name "shadow flight" has been the casual name for the unit that basically fly's all Edwards test support craft... chase planes and so on (thus the name "shadow"). If a B-2, B-1, 22 or whatever has one or two chase or target planes for a test, those are the guys. The actual AC are drawn from the pool, but it could be a T-38, 16, 15 or whatever. A couple years back it was reorganized into one group, the 412th Test Operations. Not to be confused with the 416th CTF, which was also reorganized into a blended T-38, 16 and 15 fighter test SQ.

This is the 413th FLTS(??) Electronic Warfare "Nutcrackers" patch. NUTCRACKERS patch is indeed a patch from the 413th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, California. That unit was inactivated on 6 May 2004, but I had an opportunity to learn about the patch. He couldn't speak about it in detail as there are classified aspects to it. Most of the elements on the patch have to do with the electronic warfare (EW) test mission of the squadron. In fact, it is sort of redundant to have the words ELECTRONIC WARFARE on the patch. The red, white, and blue stars symbolize the number 413, obviously. Most of the other iconography (raven/crow, lightning bolts, etc.) are related to EW. As far as I can tell, the classified element is related to location rather than mission. The 413th FLTS conducted much of their classified testing at Groom Lake, Nevada on the Nellis Test and Training Range.

This patch was the F-4's Depot Maintenance patch. They are the ones who worked on the Phantoms when they were delivered to the "Depot" for routine maintenance. Each F-4 was required to be sent to the Depot every 4-5 years in order to be "refurbished".

This is the "Century Series" patch for the F-100 "Super Sabre". It has the dates of 1953-1990, showing the dates it was in the inventory. Yet another great plane.....
