This is the 24th EADS patch. It is a legacy patch for the current 127th ADS that is performing the JADOC (Joint Air Defense Operations Center) mission. The 127th ADS is the USAF squadron located in the nation's capital at a secure location, the JADOC houses dozens of servicemen and women whose mission is to work daily around the clock to track and identify every aircraft that approaches the U.S. National Capital Region airspace. As a part of the CONR mission, JADOC was created after the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon, the World Trade Center and United Airlines Flight 93. Having worked there I can attest to the fact that everyone there are great folks and it's a super important mission. This patch comes with velcro attached.

The 116th Operations Support Squadron, unlike a traditional base OSS, is responsible for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) sortie and exercise scheduling, flight analyses, mission intelligence, tactics, and aircrew training preparation. These duties include long-range mission scheduling, building and executing exercises and deployments, aircraft software or modification training, and providing the necessary tactics and intelligence analyses to ensure wing mission success. The 330th Combat Training Squadron trains Army and Air Force aircrew members on their specific roles. The squadron trains an average of 350 hundred students a year to fill officer and enlisted aircrew positions. Students participate in an intense six-month (or more) course of study that includes academic classroom and practical flying instruction. Nearly 90 people keep the school operating at peak proficiency - 70 are instructors. This patch comes with velcro attached.

At first glance this may look like an ordinary ACC patch --- but low and behold it has a hidden treasure. The B-2 is in red (where the wall usually is located). I wore it at work this week on my flightsuit and NO ONE noticed. It was an order from the Missouri Air Guard. This patch comes with velcro attached.
