On the bottom rocker it states "7th Operations Group". The 7th Operations Group is the operational flying component of the United States Air Force 7th Bomb Wing, stationed at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The group is responsible for executing global conventional bombing directed by proper command authority. It is the largest B-1B operations group comprised of 40 B-1s and 1,140 people assigned to four squadrons - 9th and 28th Bomb Squadrons, 7th Operations Support Squadron, and 436th Training Squadron. This patch does not come with velcro. |

116 OSS unauthorized Friday patch Size: 3 1/4" In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 This is a custom patch for the 116th OSS. It shows a drunk bird flying around. On the top rocker it states, "GET LIT!" and on the bottom rocker it says, "116th OSS". The patch is an "unauthorized" version of the squadron's Friday morale patch. The 116th Operations Support Squadron, unlike a traditional base OSS, is responsible for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) sortie and exercise scheduling, flight analyses, mission intelligence, tactics, and aircrew training preparation. These duties include long-range mission scheduling, building and executing exercises and deployments, aircraft software or modification training, and providing the necessary tactics and intelligence analyses to ensure wing mission success. This patch comes with velcro attached. |

330th CTS Friday Patch Size: 3 1/2" In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 This is a custom patch for the 330th CTS (Combat Training Squadron). It shows the JSTARS mascot, an owl, with claws out swooping down on it's prey. On the top rocker it states, "Prognatus Caligo Lumen" which translates to "Born to make dizzy light" (I'm not kidding - go figure) and on the bottom rocker it says, "330th Combat Training Squadron". The 330th Combat Training Squadron trains Army and Air Force aircrew members on their specific roles. The squadron trains an average of 350 hundred students a year to fill officer and enlisted aircrew positions. Students participate in an intense six-month (or more) course of study that includes academic classroom and practical flying instruction. Nearly 90 people keep the school operating at peak proficiency - 70 are instructors. This patch comes with velcro attached. |

It is a legacy patch for the current 127th ADS that is performing the JADOC (Joint Air Defense Operations Center) mission. The 127th ADS is the USAF squadron located in the nation's capital at a secure location, the JADOC houses dozens of servicemen and women whose mission is to work daily around the clock to track and identify every aircraft that approaches the U.S. National Capital Region airspace. As a part of the CONR mission, JADOC was created after the 9/11 attacks on the Pentagon, the World Trade Center and United Airlines Flight 93. Having worked there I can attest to the fact that everyone there are great folks and it's a super important mission. This patch comes with velcro attached. |
