VFA-127 A/C Diamond Patch Size: 4 1/2" In Stock: >5 Price: $7.00 The "Cyclons", based at NAS Fallon, NV are an adversary squadron equipped with Northrop's F-5 E/F Tigers, and in 1992, began transitioning to the F/A-18A/B Hornet. The Cyclons were the first adversary squadron to fly the Hornet. This is the "diamond" version of their adversary aircraft patch worn on the right sleeve of the flightsuit. |

VFA-131 Aircraft Patch Size: 3" In Stock: >5 Price: $7.00 The Wildcats were established in October 1983 as a new Hornet squadron and belonged to CVW-7 aboard the USS Eisenhower (CVN-69). They participated in exercises against Libya in 1986 from the USS Coral Sea (CV-43). In 1991, they converted from 'A' Models to 'C' Models, resumed with the "Ike", and participated in Desert Shield, but not Desert Storm. |

They participated in exercises against Libya in 1986 from the USS Coral Sea (CV-43). In 1991, they converted from 'A' Models to 'C' Models, resumed with the "Ike", and participated in Desert Shield, but not Desert Storm. This is the patch worn by the crews that maintain the aircraft. |

VFA-136 Aircraft Patch (Desert) Size: 3" In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 The "Knighthawks" of VFA-136 fly the F/A-18C Hornet as part of CVW-7 from the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67). They were established in July 1985 and received their first 'night attack' Hornet in November 1990. They participated in Desert Shield, but returned home from deployment before hostilities began. This is the desert version worn while in the combat theater. |

This patch was created for the "Line Maintenance" guys that work on the jets. They used to be called "Line Rats", but have since changed their names to "Line Dawgs". |

This patch is for the "Plane Captains" that are in charge of the jets. Those guys used to be the "Line Dawgs", but proved themselves worthy of having a jet of their own to maintain. |

They are currently onboard the USS Constellation (CV-64) flying with CVW-2 and this is the color version of their current round aircraft patch. |

They made their first Tomcat cruise aboard the USS America (CV-66) in April 1976. This is their new white-bordered Hornet aircraft diamond patch. |
