The "Vigilantes" of VFA-151 were associated with CVW-5 onboard the USS Midway, but transferred back to US soil when the USS Independence replaced the venerable Midway in 1991. They currently fly the F/A-18C Hornet out of NAS Lemoore, CA.

The VFA-154 'Black Knights' were established in February 1951, then designated as VF-154 in February 1953. They flew the F-4S Phantom before transitioning to the F-14A Tomcat and now to the F/A-18F Hornet. This is the color version of the NEW aircraft triangle design. It is the triangle patch worn on the right shoulder of the flight suits worn by the aircrew that fly the Hornet.

This is the desert version of the 'Hunters' aircraft bullet patch. The 'Hunters' of VF-201 were one of two Naval Air Reserve squadrons based at NAS Dallas, then NAS Ft. Worth. They flew the F-14A models, but transitioned to the F/A-18 Hornet in the mid-90s.

The 'Blue Dolphins' of VFA-203 were established in July 1970 at Cecil Field, FL as the Naval Air Reserve A-7 Corsair squadron. The now operate the F/A-18A Hornet out of NAS New Orleans, LA.

They were one of two F-14 Tomcat squadrons during the final Tomcat cruise (VF-31 was the other). This is the current color version of their Hornet aircraft diamond patch.
