VFA-32 Oval Patch (Desert) Size: 3 1/2" In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 Established as VBF-3 in 1945, the squadron was redesignated VF-4A in 1946, then VF-32 in August 1948. The "Swordsmen" participated in the Lebanon strikes, the Grenada invasion, the Libyan MiG-23 'Flogger' shootdown in 1985, and also in Desert Storm onboard the USS JFK (CV-67) with CVW-17. This is their current squadron patch that shows the lion with the sword and shield. This is the desert version oval. |

VFA-82 Oval Patch Size: 3 1/2" Wide In Stock: >5 Price: $7.00 Based out of NAS Cecil Field, FL, the Marauders of VFA-82 converted from the A-7 in July 1987 and became the first Fleet squadron to be equipped with McDonnell Douglas' F/A-18C Hornet Strike Fighter. They were assigned to the USS America (CV-66) and participated in Desert Storm. Since Cecil Field closed, they moved to and are currently stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC. |

VFA-102 Oval Aircraft Patch Size: 3 1/2" Wide In Stock: >5 Price: $7.00 The VFA-102 "Diamondbacks" are located at NAS Lemoore, CA and fly the F/A-18 Hornet. They were established in July 1955, and transitioned from the F-4J Phantom to the F-14A Tomcat in July 1981 then to the F-18 Hornet in 2002 and this is the aircraft patch worn on the right sleeve of the flight suit. During operations against Libya in 1986, they were fired upon by SA-5 SAM Systems. They also participated in Operation Desert Storm. They currently are attached to CVW-1 onboard the USS John F. Kennedy. |

VFA-103 "Oval" (Black) Size: 3 1/2" Wide In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 VFA-103 was established in May 1952 and began the transition from F-4S Phantoms to the F-14A Tomcat to the F/A-18F SuperHornet in 2005. The 'Sluggers' were with the USS Saratoga in CVW-17 for the majority of her time, before switching to the USS Enterprise. VF-103 adopted the "Skull and Crossbones" of VF-84 to continue their tradition. VF-103 had one of their TARPS-birds shot down by an optical SA-2 derivative in Desert Storm with the pilot being rescued and the RIO becoming a POW. This is the current version of their new "oval" patch. |

VFA-213 Plane Captain Oval Size: 3 1/2" Wide In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 The "Black Lions" of VFA-213 first flew F-4B Phantoms for many years, then were transitioned to the F-14A Tomcat, and have since transitioned to the F/A-18 Hornet. The squadron embarked on their first Tomcat cruise as part of CVW-11 onboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) in October 1977, and their last Tomcat cruise in late 2005/early 2006. They were one of two F-14 Tomcat squadrons during the final Tomcat cruise (VF-31 was the other). This is the current color version of their Hornet plane captain oval patch. |
