This is the Felix patch from the VF-32 Swordsmen. As shown, Felix is decked out in armor, leaning on a sword with the twin tails, blue cape, and helmet in right paw. They lay claim to being the last US Navy aircrew over Baghdad, overflying it at 4 March 91. They are currently onboard the USS Enterprise with CVW-3 and returned from deployment on 3 May 99.

The "Swordsmen" of VF-32 fly the F-14A Tomcat out of NAS Oceana, VA and trace their history back to Feb 1945. They transitioned from the F-4B Phantom to the F-14A Tomcat in 1974, being one of the first to do so. This is the squadron that shot down 2 Libyan MiG-23 "Floggers" after being engaged over international waters. They participated in Operation Desert Shield/Storm, and claim to be the last Navy aircrew over Baghdad. This is their last Felix patch created to commemorate the end of the Tomcat.

This is the felix patch created for the 2003 Med Cruise patch for the VF-32 Swordsmen. It was for their participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Northern Watch. It shows the country of IRAQ colored in the colors of the American Flag. Awesome patch!!

The 'Starfighters' of VF-33 flew the F-14A Tomcat before being decommissioned. Established in October 1948, they were originally known as the 'Tarsiers' until the mid-80s. They transitioned from the F-4 Phantom to the F-14 Tomcat in 1981. They flew in operations against Libya, and Desert Storm onboard the USS America with CVW-1. This was their "STARWARS" felix, created after the original movie came out in the late '70s.

The "Black Aces" of VF-41 operated the F-14A out of NAS Oceana, VA. Callsign "Fast Eagle", they were established in September 1950 and transitioned from the F-4Ns in April 1976 to their current platform. In August 1981, the Black Aces downed 2 Su-22 "Fitter" fighters after being attacked during an exercise. They participated in several exercises and flew from the decks of several carriers. They also shifted to the USS Lincoln (CVN-72) for 'cleanup' operations at the end of Desert Storm. They currently are with CVW-8.

The Bedevilers of VF-74 flew the F-14B Tomcat out of NAS Oceana, VA, but have since been decommissioned. They began flying the Tomcat in 1983, flying against Libya in 1986 in Operation Prairie Fire (March) and Operation El Dorado (April) during their Med Cruise. They also participated in Operation Desert Storm before going the way of the Doo-doo Bird.
