F-14 Tomcat - Strike Fighter Size: 3" In Stock: >5 Price: $7.00 When the A-6E Intruders were decommissioned, the long-range strike mission was scrubbed. Since the Hornet is considered "medium range" (at best), the Tomcat had to pick up the role of the medium range bomber. It was retrofitted with Air-to-Ground software in order for the Tomcat to become the "Bombcat" and became the multi-role "strike fighter". |

VF-2 1992 OSW Cruise Size: 4 3/4" In Stock: >5 Price: $10.00 This is the 1992 Operation Southern Watch cruise patch for the VF-2 Bounty Hunters. Along the top, it says "Southern Watch", "TARPS", and the dates "17 Sep 92" and "02 Dec 92". Along the bottom, it says "The Only Show in Town" and "Bounty Hunters". Scan isn't very good, but the patch is nice. Was only able to get a few dozen of these, so they will probably go fast. |

VF-11 Plane Captain Patch (White) Size: 4" In Stock: >5 Price: $8.00 Callsign "RIPPER", the VF-11 Red Rippers transitioned from the F-4Js to the F-14A Tomcat in 1980. They were originally designated as VF-43 in September 1950, then redesignated in February 1959. They adopted the squadron insignia of the original VF-11 which was decommissioned the day prior, but even though they carry on the tradition of the insignia, they do not carry the original VF-11 lineage which dates back to February 1927. This is the "plane captain" patch worn by the maintenance personnel that take care of the birds. |
