This is the desert version of the famous EA-6B Prowler "Hussein Hunter" series of patches created back during the first Desert Storm. This one has been modified to reflect the latest Operation Iraqi Freedom War date of 03-20-03.

This is the Prowler version of the "Electronic Warfare" patch worn by EA-6B pilots that have attended or taught at the Marine Air Weapons and Tactics School (MAWTS-1) located at MCAS Yuma, AR. Great school for learning how to employ not only that aircraft, but an entire strike package.

This patch was created to show the venerable Prowler's capabilities, the "Night" mission. Gorgeous patch!

The 'Seahawks' of VMAQ-4 are the sole Marine Air Reserve squadron operating the EA-6B Prowler, under the guidance of MAG-46 out of El Toro, CA. In November 1991, the squadron reported to NAS Whidbey Island from MCAS Iwakuni, Japan. This patch denotes their involvement in the Decisive ENdeavor Operation.

The 'Seahawks' of (VMAQ-4) are a United States Marine Corps electronic warfare squadron consisting of EA-6B Prowler jets. The squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 14 (MAG-14) and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (2nd MAW). This patch denotes their "humor" of being "midnight" and the number of crewmembers "Four...Five... Six...."

This patch was created to commemorate the role the USMC Prowlers played in the 1999 Kosovo crisis.

For many years, US Naval Aviation was known as the "Grumman Navy" due to the large percentage of aircraft that were produced by the Grumman Ironworks. These aircraft consisted of the A-6E Intruder, EA-6B Prowler, F-14 Tomcat, the E-2C Hawkeye, and the C-2 Greyhound. This is the "Harley Davidson" version of the famous Grumman patch.
